- This Modern Contemporary South Asian Art auction brings a curated selection of paintings, sculptures, ceramics and works on paper from the region’s most celebrated artists. The sale is led by a masterpiece by Sayed Haider Raza titledTerra Amata. Painted in 1984, the work was previously in the collection of Chester and Davida Herwitz and has illustrious exhibition history. Stellar provenance isakey theme of the auction,with works sourcedfrom important collections from across North America, Europe, South and Southeast Asia.
