- <p>painted, <em>possibly by Christian Friedrich Herold</em>, with <em>Kauffahrtei</em> scenes of figures at various pursuits at the waters edge, as well as barges and boats on the water, within gilt-edged shaped quatrefoil cartouches issuing purple scrollwork, with scroll handles and dragon-form finials, the stands painted with branches of flowers, gilt-rims,<em> crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, gilt numeral 6. to all pieces</em></p><p><br></p><p>Diameter of stands 7 1/4 in.</p><p>18.5 cm.</p>
