Highlights include a magnificent Hebrew Bible from Spain circa 1300, with intricate micrographic ornamentation; a luxurious copy of the second printing of the Hebrew Bible published on parchment (Naples: 1492), and a profusely illustrated Esther Scroll from Italy. The sale will also feature a variety of silver bookbindings and early 20th century Judaica carpets. A distinguished private collection covers three centuries of Judaic metalwork, from an 18th century Dutch Silver Hanging Sabbath Lamp, to a Chinese Parcel-Gilt Silver Torah Scroll Case (dated 1892), to 20th-century works by artists of the Bezalel School and Ilya Schor.
