- <p>Four Rodin Bronzes from The Geraldine Rockefeller Dodge Collection</p><p>Auguste Rodin</p><p>1840 - 1917</p><p><br></p><p><em>Alphonse Legros</em></p><p>bronze</p><p>height: 33.2 cm. 13⅛ in.</p><p>Conceived in 1881-82; this example cast in June 1882. The present work is from an edition of 3 cast by the Gruet Jeune Foundry, Paris in addition to at least 13 known examples.</p><p><br></p><p>This work will be included in the forthcoming <em>Catalogue Critique de l'œuvre sculpté d'Auguste Rodin</em> being currently prepared by Galerie Brame & Lorenceau under the direction of Jérôme Le Blay under the archive number 2015-4618B.</p>
