<p><strong>Chambolle Musigny, Les Fuées 2008 </strong></p><p>Faiveley </p><p><em>Côte de Nuits, 1er Cru</em></p><p><em>Excellent levels and appearance</em></p><p> </p><p>12 bts (oc)</p><p> </p><p><strong>Provenance:</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong></strong>The Masterpiece Collection Part IV | Rare Bordeaux & Burgundy Icons opens with some of the greatest but now increasingly scarce vintages: 1934, 1949 and 1961 — all offered in large formats — followed by mature First Growths of the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, most notably the legendary 1982s and 1990s, presented in extraordinary breadth from First to Fifth Classed Growths and crowned by the Right Bank masterpiece, Petrus.</p><p><br></p><p>In Burgundy, highlights include Domaine Leroy grands crus, offered in remarkable quantity and in their original wooden cases, with particular emphasis on the highly-regarded 1988 vintage. Adding both breadth and historical resonance, the collection also encompasses an exceptional series of wines from the Hospices de Beaune.                                                                                                                             </p><p><br></p><p>A significant proportion of the collection was acquired directly at Sotheby’s and Christie’s auctions during the 1990s, providing impeccable traceability. Original case markings and documentation further attest to the authenticity and care with which these wines have been preserved.
